To provide safe, affordable, and supportive shared housing and in-home care to veterans, elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, individuals re-entering society, and low-income populations across Georgia — empowering each person to live with dignity, stability, and hope.

Supportive Living Solutions, Inc. operates in full compliance with all applicable federal and Georgia state nonprofit laws as outlined in our articles of incorporation.

Purpose Clause

Organized for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including providing housing support, personal care services, and community-based assistance to veterans, elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, individuals re-entering society, and low-income populations.

No Private Inurement

No part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to, its directors, officers, or other private persons, except that the corporation shall be authorized to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered.

Political Activity Limitations

No substantial part of the activities of the corporation shall be the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the corporation shall not participate in or intervene in any political campaign.

Dissolution Clause

Upon dissolution, assets shall be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3), or to the federal government for a public purpose.

Liability Protection

A director shall not be personally liable to the corporation for monetary damages for breach of fiduciary duty to the fullest extent permitted by Georgia Law.

Indemnification Clause

The corporation shall indemnify its directors and officers against expenses and liabilities incurred in connection with their service to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Conflict of Interest Provision

The corporation shall adopt and maintain a conflict of interest policy to ensure that transactions between related parties are conducted at arm's length and in the best interest of the corporation.
